Special situations firm hires boutique’s ex-CEO

Oliver Banz, ex-CEO of sustainable investment firm Smartenergy Invest, has joined special situations boutique AS Equity Partners.

At AS, he is a partner, head of portfolio operations and a member of the investment committee, it announced.

Banz has held a range of senior banking roles, including COO of a corporate banking unit at UBS.
